Internet Consultants (Detailed Overview)
What do internet consultants do?
We sell websites to small businesses all across the U.S. and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound prospecting calls to potential customers.
- Qualify leads and sets second appointment for demo.
- Conduct in depth needs assessments of potential customers.
- Provide product demos to qualified prospects.
- Ask for referrals from prospects and clients.
- Emphasize features, quote prices, and prepare paperwork for
orders.
- Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
What is expected of candidates?
- Knowledgeable about the internet
- A proven success in sales
- Reliable, enthusiastic, upbeat personality, get along well with
co-workers
- Pleasant, articulate, confident phone voice
- Customer service oriented—enjoy helping people & going
the “extra mile” to meet each customer’s needs
- Great communicator over the telephone
- Excellent writing skills
- Experienced with computers (basic programs such as Word &
Excel)
- Quick learner, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in fast-paced
environment
- Organized and able to take clear, concise notes (we document
every customer service transaction)
Monthly Sales Goals
- Generate $5,000 - $20,000 in new monthly business
Compensation
- Draw Pay Rate (after training):
$30,000. Commission & Bonus opportunities can
be significantly more.
- Health benefits available after 3 months of employment.
- Current Internet Consultants make $2,500 - $8,000/mo.
average IC after 4 months of employment $4,200/mo.
Work hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm
