Internet Matrix, Inc. is an established, San Diego based, web marketing company looking for an in-house writer and social media enthusiast to boost our company’s social media exposure and organic search rankings. Reporting to the Manager of Brand Development, the Social Media Marketing Writer must be able to write, publish and maintain excellent online promotional content throughout a variety of social media networks for the ultimate purpose of increasing the organic search ranking results for our company’s top website brands.

 The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an excellent writer with previous social media marketing experience who capitalizes on their curiosity to research and stay current with the ever changing social media marketing trends. Performance will be measured based on the both the quantity and quality of content written and posted throughout numerous social media networks as well as the impact such efforts make on the organic search rankings.

Responsibilities

• Write and publish excellent and targeted online content such as conversational posts, comments, blogs, press releases, articles, website copy, etc.
• Report on and maintain informed of the most current and lucrative trends in social media marketing

• Knowledge of top social media sites, tools, and technologies
• Exceptional writing skills
• Ability to analyze and report rapidly changing social marketing developments
• Previous experience promoting business through social media networks
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and represent the various niche markets
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
