Solutions: Website Development: Process
Process
Development of a Fully Customized Website should not be underrated.
There are many variables to consider and many elements that build
off previous decisions. It is important to have a specific game
plan. iMatrix has a six phase custom design process that makes
the daunting task of developing a fully custom website much more
effecient and predictable for both designer and client.
- Environment Assessment:
Once completed, allows iMatrix staff to have a basic understanding
of the organizational needs and data systems that need to be produced.

- Detail Discovery:
A series of consultations in which we review the environment

organization’s
needs.
- Quote Generation:
A blueprint that will cover all aspects of the project design,
including category site map, design detail, programming modules,
and cost.
- Content Collection:
Content elements need to be provided by client at this phase.
Having the content in its completed state ensures the interface
we develop matches the quantity and type of information that
will be displayed.
- Development Cycle:
With all the information collected, our team can now develop
your site. This allows you to work directly with your project
coordinator to act as the creative director on the development
of your site. The project coordinator in turn communicates
with the design and programming staff.
- Integration:
In the final phase, the graphic user interface is combined
with the content to produce a final completed product. This
phase includes a fine-tuning and quality assurance process
to provide you with the level of perfection that you require
